6780 #1 in Zone 30 for Giving
| >District
6780 received recognition at the annual Zone Institute in Kansas City in
September for being the Number One District in Zone 30 in both per capita
giving at over $180 per Rotarian and for total giving at almost $500,000.
The total giving amount will increase to over $700,000 when all pledges
and district designated funds are included at the end of the three year
pledge period. The district giving also exceeded the number one districts
in the other zone, Zone 29. The two zones are comprised of twenty-four districts
on either side of the southern and middle portions of the Mississippi River
to form the "Heart of America" zones. |
