RSVP by February 13 to the committee. There will not be a club meeting on that Friday, February 17. |

Kristin Luna is a Tullahoma-born travel writer, who spent the past seven years working as an editor and author in New York City and San Francisco. Kristin writes a couple of guidebooks for Frommer's each year, as well as contributes regularly to a number of magazines and newspapers including Redbook, Robb Report, Budget Travel, the San Francisco Chronicle and others. In her "free time," she also operates an award-winning blog, Camels & Chocolate, which has received many international accolades. Kristin has been to more than 80 countries throughout her travels and lived in Scotland, Holland and Denmark. Most recently, she completed a full circumnavigation of the globe while working as the field office coordinator for Semester at Sea, a university study abroad program sponsored by the University of Virginia. |

The Broke Spokes Band will be making a return performance at our club meeting. Their performance has always been during the District Conference where our club's higharchy is away to conference and cannot effectively scrutinize the group's entertainment ability, their material nor whether the content the group presents actually has a fitting place among Rotary affairs! The band is made up of several fellow Rotarians. Mike Greene will introduce Brother John (John Rickman), Uncle Dave (Dave Johnson), Big Moe (Maurice Hale), Ole Fire Plug (Richard Shasteen), Dr. Banjo (Bill Sanders) and Bull Frog (Harry Hill). The Broke Spokes have played for our club for several years previous in the month of April---round about tax time. Even if your funds are low after paying Uncle Sam, do not fret--these boys do not charge! So just sit back and enjoy our very own bluegrass/country sensation, The Broke Spokes. |
