We are taking a new approach to our weekly programs the 2007-2008 rotary year, which begins July 1. In the past, a program assignment schedule was developed at the beginning of the year, with weekly assignments made for the entire year. This year the committee will be taking program requests from the membership and will schedule approved programs. The committee has also been given a budget to use for some possible paid programs (this will be a test for this year). Program requests can be submitted to the committee throughout the year. Unfilled weeks for up to 3 months out will be assigned to the membership on a rotating basis. We have had good success in the past with having good programs, but this new approach should take the quality of our programs to a higher level.
